College’s STEM workshop series targets underserved students

 

WRGB CBS 6 News reported July 27 on the college’s STEM Outreach Workshop Initiative, an online series of free workshops targeting underserved middle school students. The workshops immerse girls and boys in the field of computer programming to explore Python Programming, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, Robotics and more.

SOWI is coordinated by Taunya Hannibal-Williams, community outreach specialist in the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, and facilitated by Mac-Arthur Louis, adjunct professor in the Business, Computer Science and Criminal Justice Department.
